With a little planning that may include a pencil, some paper, a ruler
and some common household items (coins, postage stamp, etc)
you'll soon be on your way to designing a piece of art that will likely generate a conversation.
Sizes of common household items:
A dime = about 1/2 inch
A nickel = about 3/4 inch
A quarter = about 1 inch
A half dollar = about 1 1/4 inches
A postage stamp = about 3/4 inch wide & 1 inch tall

These items will be helpful when designing your art jewelry.
I suggest that you sketch out what you are thinking and try to re-create it with similar sized objects.
Cut out your shapes & sizes and maybe even get out the coloring crayons
so that you can create a piece that will look like what you are envisioning..... just like kindergarten,
but so much more fun!
Your time spent doing this will make the ordering process so much smoother.
We are working on getting a shopping cart system to help with the design process.
It will hopefully be up & running before the end of the year.
The majority of the blank items (before they are stamped) are cut in the shop.
So if you don't see the size or shape that you want, we can likely make it for you.
The rectangles come in 3 common widths:
NARROW = 4mm wide area for me to stamp on
STANDARD = 1/4" wide area for me to stamp on.
WIDE = 8mm wide area for me to stamp on
Again, if you don't see the width that you need, we will cut it for you.
Please specify which width you would like.
The STANDARD rectangle can accommodate more fonts as there is a wider area for me to stamp on.
This gives you a greater selection of fonts to choose from.
The squares come in the "standard sizes" of :
1 inch, 3/4 inch or 1 1/4 inch.
If you don't see the size that you need, we will cut it for you.
The standard message ring has a very narrow area for me to stamp on
and we have found that the best font is the plain caps in either the 2.0 mm size or the 1.5mm size.
Gothic lower case may work, but be aware of the "longer letters"
as they may go off the edge of the stampable area.
If you desire a different font than what is listed, we can cut a message ring to accomodate that font.
We offer Swarovski crystals, pearls & gemstones for those who like to add a little color & dimension.
Swarovski crystals, the most common sizes & shapes:
4mm size in diamond, round or square
6mm size in diamond or round

Tell me the names or words on the piece & I can find it much faster.
